First things first
The orthodontist conducts a thorough analysis to create a treatment plan, determine how long the realignment should take, and give you an estimate. Our mission is to change adult orthodontics, which is why our estimate doesn’t depend on the length of the treatment. If it takes longer than expected, the cost doesn’t increase: it’s up to us to be effective!
Orthodontics for Adults at the CHD
We’ll present you with the advantages and disadvantages of several treatment options so you can make an informed choice.
Once we choose the treatment, we’ll fit the appliance.
- Transparent aligners (Invisalign)
- White braces (ceramic braces)
- Braces on the inside of your teeth rather than the outside (Incognito or Win Lingual Systems)
This session includes recommendations for cleaning your teeth during the orthodontic treatment.
At each appointment, you get a new aligner or we readjust the appliance until your teeth are perfectly straight.
When your treatment is complete, and before you can proudly display your new smile at Paléo, we’ll give you one of two “retention” techniques:
-Either a light wire (splint) permanently glued to the inside of your front teeth
-Or a retainer you wear at night to maintain the alignment
These 2 types of retention are part of the treatment and included in the initial cost estimate. We know that orthodontic treatment is a long-term personal and financial investment on your part, which means we’ll do everything we can ensure an optimal result.
And we guarantee that you’ll always be seen by the orthodontist rather than an assistant.
Recommendations
At the end of the session, the hygienist will give you personalized recommendations on oral practices to follow during your orthodontic treatment.
Your next appointment
The good news? You won’t need to come in as often as before: appointments are now spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
